A taxi driver and a family of four had a narrow escape after the car they were travelling in fell into an eight-foot-deep sinkhole formed by a road cave-in on Rajiv Gandhi Salai near Tidel Park in Chennai on Saturday, May 17. The incident occurred around 6.30 pm during rush hour.

For this news we shall see that it is possible to identify a remote (root cause) as well as an immediate cause - an analogy would be an “hour” hand and “minute” hand of a clock.

The “hour” hand (root cause) is the chart for the March 14 total lunar eclipse aligned with the meridian at Madras. The Moon and the S.Node on the IC are conjunct stars in the constellation Crater - which often literally indicates a cup like hollow or hole in the ground! (see image). In the last couple of days, the eclipse chart was triggered by the transiting Nodes moving over the meridian along with transit Jupiter completing a T-square.

The immediate cause is the chart for the reported time of the event. The Sun-Uranus combination along with TNP Admetus is on the descendant. For Admetus-Uranus, Martha Wescott has : “Accidents that deal with falls, holes or depressions in the land.”
