Machiavellian strategies of the Democratic Party

The video "The Shocking Cost of Goodness | Machiavelli’s Hidden Truth" refers to themes from Niccolò Machiavelli's book "The Prince" (Il Principe). This work, written in 1513, explores political philosophy, including the idea that virtuous actions can sometimes lead to negative consequences in politics, aligning with the video's title.Machiavelli did not publish The Prince during his lifetime; it was published posthumously in 1532. The concepts discussed, such as the cost of being "good" in a world of power struggles, are central to this text. Presented here is Machiavelli's horoscope [1] with a strong Saturn-Neptune opposition aligned with the meridian. As Richard Tarnas points out this combination can be related to the “use of deception and fraud (Neptune) as a strategy to maintain power (Saturn)”. Below we will see the same combination in the horoscope of the Democratic Party.

Looking back even before Bacon, it is striking that the first modern master of disenchantment, Niccolo Machiavelli, was born in 1469 during the last Saturn-Neptune opposition of the fifteenth century. The founder of modern political philosophy and, for his era, a man uniquely unencumbered by religious beliefs, Machiavelli fully separated politics for the first time from theological considerations, while examining the actual practice of Italian political life without illusions about human nature. Moreover, he began writing The Prince, his most significant work, when Saturn and Neptune were again in close alignment, in 1513. So many of the qualities for which The Prince is famous can be recognized as paradigmatic expressions of this archetypal complex—the entirely secular realism, the “scientific attitude” and clinical lucidity with which human affairs are observed, the keen eye for shadow, the critical appraisal and unmasking of the contemporary Church’s amoral political practices, the recommended use of deception and fraud (Neptune) as a sound strategy to maintain power (Saturn), the general tendency towards pessimism and cynicism. In many respects, The Prince is the master text of the hermeneutics of suspicion. Richard Tarnas The Ideal and the Real: Saturn-Neptune

The video "The Shocking Cost of Goodness | Machiavelli’s Hidden Truth" was uploaded on September 10, 2025 just before the solar eclipse of September 21, 2025 which is opposite the Saturn-Neptune conjunction occuring on the IC of the US Sibly (the 4th cusp rules the opposition party)

The Democratic Party is reluctant to confront threats of violence head-on. Leaders like Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer have downplayed Antifa’s role in violence, with Schumer tweeting in 2020 that designating it a terrorist group would be “a dangerous overreach that chills free speech.” . This is a clear case of using deception and fraud (Neptune) to maintain power (Saturn) that Machiavell wrote about.

Is it at all surprising that the chart [2] for the formation of the Democratic Party has a Saturn-Neptune opposition (as in Machiavelli’s chart) ?
