India’s Tejas crashes at New Moon

Fall of Bellerophon

Tejas Crash at Dubai Air Show: The incident involved an Indian Air Force (IAF) HAL Tejas (Light Combat Aircraft Mk-1) fighter jet participating in a flying demonstration on the final day of the biennial Dubai Air Show . Date and Time (UTC)Date: November 21, 2025; Time: 10:10 UTC

The Tejas was performing a routine aerobatic display for a large crowd of spectators, including families and aviation professionals from over 150 countries. Eyewitness videos and reports indicate the following sequence:The jet had completed several passes over the display area successfully. During a low-altitude negative-G maneuver (a roll or inverted flight to showcase agility), the aircraft appeared to lose control. It failed to recover, entering a steep dive toward the ground at high vertical speed. The pilot, identified as Squadron Leader Naman Sayal from Himachal Pradesh, India, did not eject and was killed on impact. No other casualties or injuries were reported among spectators or ground crew.

Presented here is the chart for the time of crash. Saturn/Neptune is on the Ascendant along with the star Scheat of Pegasus just rising. Fixed Star Scheat (Beta Pegasi) is one of the more challenging and "unfortunate" fixed stars in traditional astrology, with a long-standing reputation for linking to sudden misfortunes, including air-related disasters like plane crashes. Its position at approximately 29° Pisces (tropical zodiac) places it right at the anaretic degree, amplifying themes of crisis, transition, and potential peril. In the context of the Tejas crash chart (November 21, 2025, 10:10 UTC, Dubai), Scheat's alignment with the rising Ascendant (near 25°–29° Pisces, conjunct Saturn and Neptune is a classic configuration for invoking its malefic potential: Saturn adds restriction and fatality, while Neptune brings illusion, dissolution, or uncontrollable forces (like a high-speed aerial maneuver gone wrong).

Historical charts with Scheat prominent often show aviation tragedies: e.g., a 1926 mid-air collision (Saturn on Scheat) and the 1996 Croatia plane crash killing 35, including a U.S. official (again, Saturn).

The ancient Greeks explicitly connected the star Scheat (β Pegasi, in the winged horse’s shoulder) to the tragic fall of Bellerophon. The story is one of the clearest classical archetypes of hubris and catastrophic overreach, and astrologers from Hellenistic times onward have used it as the primary lens for interpreting this star.

Challenges and Air Crash Link: Echoing tradition, Diana Rosenberg links it to "catastrophes... airplane accidents, and suicide attempts," especially in mundane charts for transportation disasters. But she qualifies: "Not always negative"—e.g., in angular positions it may signal "reckless ambition" (the demo flight) but also heroism if redeemed. For the Tejas pilot, Rosenberg might see Saturn-Neptune as amplifying Neptune's "illusion of control" in a high-stakes aerial context, leading to the unre-covered dive.

Advice from Rosenberg: Use Scheat's energy mindfully—channel its "raw insights" into ethical pursuits rather than vanity-driven risks. Her work promotes fixed stars as tools for empowerment, not doom. Her legacy? Fixed stars aren't curses—they're ancient skies whispering lessons for evolution.

Scheat rising with Saturn-Neptune feels poignant: a moment of innovative display (Tejas's agility) clashing with dissolution (crash).

Finally here is the chart for the New Moon of 20 Nov 2025 drawn for Delhi, India. Notice that the New Moon- retrograde Mercury (cazimi) opposite Uranus is significantly placed on the meridian. This is the “hour” hand of the cosmic clock that “caused”the accident. Moreover, in India’s chart (Asc 0ge) the New Moon occurred on the horizon axis.

The New Moon at 28° Scorpio and the almost exact opposition to Uranus Rx at 29° Taurus are loaded with extremely difficult fixed stars. These two stars are among the most consistently destructive in the entire sky when activated, especially when on angles.

Diana Rosenberg lists dozens of aviation disasters with Unukalhai prominent (e.g., 9/11 chart has Unukalhai exactly on the IC in New York; the 1988 Lockerbie bombing had it on the Ascendant). In this lunation: the New Moon is within 0°05′ of Unukalhai → extremely tight.
