In a major escalation of trade tensions, President Donald Trump has announced a proposal for a 50% tariff on goods imported from the European Union, set to begin on June 1, 2025. In an earlier post The challenge of the Jupiter - Nodes T-square [1], we noted that the chart for the exact square of Jupiter to true Nodes at Washington DC had the T-square aligned very significantly with the angles.
If we now draw the current Wynn Key Return chart for the European Union, we will find the same T-square aligned with the meridian hinting that there may be a common message.
A simple delineation of the T-square is as below:
Co-operative or team work (Node) was steadily becoming more difficult (Saturn). Eventually reality hits (Saturn) as the bottom falls out of any unrealistic belief that one could depend on another (Neptune). The Jupiter transit square Saturn-Node-Neptune brings about a separation from unviable circumstances.
And confirming the interpretation is the Sabian for the North Node degree:
PHASE 356 (PISCES 26°): WATCHING THE VERY THIN MOON CRESCENT APPEARING AT SUNSET, DIFFERENT PEOPLE REALIZE THAT THE TIME HAS COME TO GO AHEAD WITH THEIR DIFFERENT PROJECTS.
Since this is the North Node (patterns to adopt) symbol, we must recognize that the time has come to let people go their own way.
Finally, we note that the asteroid Hera is conjunct Jupiter adding clarity to the issue at hand.
Martha Wescott defines Hera as:
HERA: Issues of rights between people; maintaining fairness in dealing with others; events through partners & partnership.
Here at least one party - the US - feels that the relationship with the EU is not fair and takes steps to correct the imbalance.
The May 15, post The End Of Soul Contracts [2] was also hinting at the end of relationships that are no longer working.
