Car falls into sinkhole in Singapore

SINGAPORE – A woman was taken to hospital after her car fell into a sinkhole that formed on Tanjong Katong Road, near the One Amber condominium, on July 26. The public have been advised to avoid the area. In a Facebook post, national water agency PUB said the sinkhole had formed at about 5pm at the junction of Tanjong Katong Road and Mountbatten Road, and adjacent to a PUB worksite. https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/sinkhole-forms-on-tanjong-katong-road-near-one-amber-condo-public-advised-to-avoid-the-area

Readers may recall a similar story from India Taxi falls into sinkhole in Madras, India [1].

The “hour” hand (root cause) is the chart for the March 14 total lunar eclipse aligned with the meridian at Madras. The Moon and the S.Node on the IC are conjunct stars in the constellation Crater - which often literally indicates a cup like hollow or hole in the ground! (see image). In the last couple of days, the eclipse chart was triggered by the transiting Nodes moving over the meridian along with transit Jupiter completing a T-square.

Presented here is the chart for Singapore [2]. Notice that the Total Lunar Eclipse of March 14 [23vi] completed a T-square with the radix Uranus [23sa] square Pluto[24pi] Transiting Mars [23vi] has triggered the T-square releasing the locked energy. For [Uranus-Pluto] activated by Mars, Ebertin has:

“The stage of bending or breaking” - Injury, accident

And of course with the stars of the Crater once again involved, the car fell into a sink hole. Not convinced, here is the Wynn Key Return of Singapore’s solar return chart for July 25 with the Mars-S.Node aligned with the horizon marking it as the “culprit”.

But were the Singapore or Madras events fated? Dennis Elwell [3], was among the few astrologers who spoke about how so called “fated” events could be avoided.

The stellar influence is admittedly subtle in the extreme, but we have no strong reasons for supposing that it is impossible to mitigate its action. At one time nothing might have seemed more hopeless than at attempt to ward off the lightning, yet now lightning conductors are common-place.'

Regarding its connection with the future, there are two sorts of astrology. One is about predicting outcomes, as if they were already graven in stone, the province of divination and fortune-telling. The other is more concerned with changing outcomes by understanding where the levers are.

In squaring up to these problems I would suggest that attention be given to the terminology of foreknowledge, in particular the distinction between destiny and fate. Although the terms are often regarded as interchangeable, I would submit that fate is what gets dumped on you when you stop attending to the proper issues of your destiny. It's a fallout, incidental and often accidental, and it's usually messy.
