FBI Director James B. Comey and Adm. Mike Rogers, director of the NSA, will appear Monday before the House Intelligence Committee to speak about alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 elections, including potential connections between President Trump’s inner circle and the Kremlin. It is the first time Comey and Rogers have testified publicly since Trump took office two months ago — a period during which Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, resigned and Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from Trump-related investigations.  March 20 https://goo.gl/OEgKcr The House Intelligence Committee hearing  today takes place just two days after retrograde Venus conjoins Mercury.   A chart for the conjunction at Washington, DC has the now familiar Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-square straddling the meridian.  At the core of the T-square is still the Uranus-Pluto square. The essence of Uranus in Aries square to Pluto in Caprico...

BEIJING — Secretary of State Rex W. Tillerson and President Xi Jinping of China cast aside their differences on Sunday with a public display of cooperation, sidestepping areas of disagreement even as North Korea made another defiant statement by showing off a new missile engine. In the highest-level face-to-face meeting between the United States and China since President Trump took office, the two sides made no mention of other contentious issues, including possible punitive trade measures against China and Washington’s unhappiness with Beijing’s assertiveness in the South China Sea. March 19 https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/19/world/asia/rex-tillerson-xi-jinping-north-korea.html Readers are aware that we are currently in the midst of   (a)  a Venus retrograde cycle (b) an  eclipse lunar cycle and. Up to 20 people have died and many have been injured after a large tree fell on them at a popular waterfall spot in Kintampo, Ghana. They were swimming during a storm when the freak accident happened, emergency officials said. The tree had seemingly been brought down by the storm. Ghana National Fire Service spokesman Prince Billy Anaglate said the incident happened at the Kintampo waterfalls in the Brong-Ahafo region. A combined team of police and fire service personnel attended the accident site, in a bid to rescue those trapped by the tree. "A huge tree fell at the top when the rains began and crashed the revellers," an eyewitness told Ghana's Starr News. "Most of them are students of the Wenchi Senior High School. Others are tourists. We are trying to save those who are trapped by cutting the trees with chainsaws."  http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-39323826 The New Moon of the current lunar cycle  was a powerful eclipse that cont...

Dragon – ancient symbol of electricity and lightning The instances of lightning and thunderstorm activity, reported over parts of Marathwada and Vidarbha earlier this week, is not a common occurring event in March, said officials at India Meteorological Department (IMD), Pune, on Friday. Lightning strikes along with hailstorm reported on March 15 over Marathwada followed by similar incident over Vidarbha, claimed lives of at least six people and damaged standing crops over this region. Though weather experts hesitated from terming it as an unusual event, experts, however, said that records of past instances show that such activity rarely occurred in March, which is when there is seasonal transition. https://www.sott.net/article/345630-Lightning-not-commonly-seen-in-India-during-March-kills-6 The unusual lightning strikes took place just after the Full Moon of March 12. A man was electrocuted as he charged his mobile phone while in the bath, an inquest has heard. Richard Bull, 32, died when his iPhone charger made contact with the water at his home in Ealing, west London. A coroner ruled his death was accidental and plans to send a report to Apple about taking action to prevent future deaths. Safety campaigners have warned about the dangers of charging mobiles near water following the inquest. Mr Bull is believed to have plugged his charger into an extension cord from the hallway and rested it on his chest while using the phone, the Sun reports. He suffered severe burns on his chest, arm and hand when the charger touched the water and died on 11 December, the newspaper said. Assistant coroner Dr Sean Cummings, who conducted the inquest at West London Coroner's Court on Wednesday (Mar.15), is to write a prevention of future death report to send to Apple.  March 17 http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-39307418 The coroners report was rele...

As crises build up around her, Angela Merkel sends Putin "particularly warm greetings" and prepares a trip to Moscow. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, facing a possibly difficult election in Germany later this year, is traveling to Moscow on 2nd May 2017. Merkel has been a regular visitor to Moscow, and speaks with Russian President Putin on the telephone more often than any other EU leader. However their relationship hit rock bottom when the Ukrainian crisis exploded in 2014, and has been fraught ever since.  Suffice to say that the last occasion when Merkel visited Moscow was in the fraught run-up to the Minsk Agreement in February 2015. When German SPD leader and Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel and Bavarian Minister-President and CSU leader Horst Seehofer, visited Moscow in October 2015 and February 2016, she made little attempt to hide her disapproval. This time the mood is completely different. Not only is Merkel herself going to Moscow, but her journey there has...

The question of whether former President Barack Obama actually spied on President Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign and transition has been tantalizing Washington since President Trump first made the allegation nearly two weeks ago. Since then, three investigations have been launched — one by the FBI, one by the House of Representatives and one by the Senate. Are the investigators chasing a phantom, or did this actually happen?  March 16 https://www.lewrockwell.com/2017/03/andrew-p-napolitano/obama-spy-trump/ What is a Davison relationship chart? The Davison relationship chart [DRC] was named for Ronald C. Davison (1914-1985), author and president of the Astrological Lodge of the Theosophical Society of London.  The date and time can be determined by calculating the day that lies exactly between the natal charts of those involved. The same principle is also applied to the times of birth. If the individuals involved have different places of b...

Dragon’s treasure hoard A "substantial" hoard of gold has been found hidden inside an old piano. The discovery was made in Shropshire before Christmas when its new owners had it retuned and repaired. Experts think the valuables might have been "deliberately hidden" in the instrument more than 100 years ago.  An inquest opened at Shrewsbury Coroner's Court earlier to determine whether the find can be classed as treasure, or whether an heir to the cache can be traced.   Jan.12 http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-shropshire-38598845 This news is best understood if we begin with the chart for the September 1, 2016 solar eclipse. This New Moon eclipse was conjunct the star Thuban of Draco.  Alpha (α) Draco, Thuban, is a pale yellow star in the Dragon. In mythology Draco  was the serpent-like dragon that guarded a golden treasure (see image) . At Shrewsbury the eclipse which is one leg of a T-square  with Saturn-Neptune makes a hard aspect to the...

An elaborate hoax based on forged documents escalates the phenomenon of “fake news” and reveals an audience on the left that seems willing to believe virtually any claim that could damage Trump. In the third week of January, an Israeli named Yoni Ariel flew from Tel Aviv to Rome carrying $9,000 in cash on a secret mission to bring down Donald Trump.  There, he met with an Italian businessman. Seated at a table toward the rear of a café, away from the street where they might attract unwanted attention, Ariel recalled, he handed over the cash. In exchange he was given a copy of a potentially explosive set of documents.  https://goo.gl/AOjp8e It was  the British astrologer C.E.O. Carter who  first suggested that if the sidereal zodiac were valid, maps for the entry of the Sun into the constellations of Aries,Cancer,Libra and Capricorn would be of importance. This suggestion was followed up by Garth Allen, who in an extensive statistical investigation f...

A 20-year-old Hong Kong policeman has swept to fame online after he talked a suicidal Pakistani man out of killing himself - in fluent Urdu. The man had climbed a 20-metre-high (65ft) crane at a construction site, and police were called to the scene. Ifzal Zaffar, who is of Pakistani descent, duly climbed up too and addressed him in their shared language. The man agreed to come down, and was taken to hospital. Constable Zaffar, who also speaks fluent Cantonese, said he was simply following his training.  March 14 http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-39272061 Shown here is the chart for the current sidereal Capricorn  ingress of the Sun drawn for Hongkong. Notice that the Sun is at the apex of a T-square that straddles the horizon axis. This cardinal T-square between Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto remains our biggest astrological influence through the first three-quarters of '17. The Uranus-Pluto square has been around for a long time and is familiar to readers. Wh...
