Marie-Antoinette's hamlet opens to public

Medusa, by Caravaggio (1595) Marie-Antoinette's hamlet farm, in the grounds of the château de Versailles, is to be opened to the public for the first time ever today (Friday May 4), since its construction over two centuries ago. The "hamlet", which was constructed in 1783 a little under two kilometres away from the main château, was modelled on Marie-Antoinette's vision of a countryside farm. Having tired of the pace of life at the château, the queen decided to create a peaceful haven in which she could welcome her own guests, and teach her children about nature and animals.   https://www.sott.net/article/384909-Marie-Antoinettes-hamlet-opens-to-public-for-first-time-providing-insight-into-life-of-the-queen Astrological progressions are one of the main means used in Horoscopic astrology to forecast future trends and developments (the other means is transits, which are simply the ongoing movements of the planets across the sky). Why society needs more troublemakers

It's sweet to be agreeable-but what a vibrant, healthy society really needs is principled troublemakers. Those who dare to say "no" when it appears that everyone else is in agreement are rare and brave-and they make the world a better place, according to University of California, Berkeley psychology professor Charlan Nemeth. Her new book, In Defense of Troublemakers: The Power of Dissent in Life and Business , shows how everyone benefits when someone presents a thoughtful contrarian view. Nemeth's research in social psychology and cognition has shown that disagreement improves group thinking. "It's a benefit regardless of whether or not [dissenters] hold the truth," she argues. "Most people are afraid and they don't speak up. Companies have that problem all the time. And the research really shows us that that even if it's wrong, the fact that the majority or the consensus is challenged actually stimulates thinking." May ...

Trump’s dilemma: The Iran Deal

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has warned that the US will face "historic regret" if Donald Trump scraps the nuclear agreement with Tehran. Mr Rouhani's comments come as the US president decides whether to pull out of the deal by a 12 May deadline. Mr Trump has strongly criticised the agreement, calling it "insane". The 2015 deal - between Iran, the US, China, Russia, Germany, France and the UK - lifted sanctions on Iran in return for curbs on its nuclear programme. France, the UK and Germany have been trying persuade the US president that the current deal is the best way to stop Iran developing nuclear weapons. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-44021829 Astrology maps the celestial energy patterns of planets so that we can discover the cosmic influences operating in a given place at a given time. Moon Wobble and the dust storm in India

A heavy dust storm swept across several parts of western and northern India on Wednesday, killing more than 100 people and injuring hundreds more in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand and leaving a trail of destruction, uprooting trees and disrupting power supply in Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh as well. At least 64 people were killed in four districts of western Uttar Pradesh with maximum deaths reported in Agra. Thirty-five people were killed in Rajasthan with Bharatpur suffering the maximum damage.  May 3 https://goo.gl/kZgUdo The regular triggers for terrestrial disasters, whether natural (earthquakes; tidal waves; hurricanes, eruptions etc) or manmade (wars; terrorism; crashes, etc) seem to be the eclipses and the Moon Wobble. Moon Wobbles were discovered in the 1930's, when research by astrologer Carl Payne Tobey (1902-1980), the original editor of Astrology Magazine, revealed that disasters occur in cycles associated with the conjunction (0°), o...

Trade War Between the US and Germany?

The heat has been rising recently in the relationship between the US and Germany. Despite Washington’s regular attempts to bring its allies to heel under the auspices of their cooperation as part of NATO and the fabricated threat of a “common enemy” as represented by Russia, Europe’s largest economy is increasingly irritating its transatlantic partner by strengthening its own positions. The main reason for this is purely economic in nature. After all, in political terms Germany has remained a US protectorate and even an officially occupied country ever since the end of World War II. But in an economic sense, the opposite picture has emerged — the US is now practically a German colony. America’ trade deficit with that country is perilously close to $70 billion a year, taking the honors for second place and trailing behind only the imbalance in US commerce with China. Israel seeks to derail Iran nuclear deal

The Iran nuclear deal—the most significant non-proliferation agreement in more than a quarter century, whether you like the terms or not—is perched on the edge of a diplomatic cliff. By May 12th, President Trump will decide whether to kick it into the abyss. He hates it. “The worst deal I’ve ever seen,” he told Fox News, in an interview for the 2017 Super Bowl. “It was a deal that should never have been negotiated.”   https://goo.gl/KSWDLY Synastry – the art of relationship astrology – is   a fascinating and illuminating study of how individuals or entities interact with one another. Here we look at the interaction between the charts of Iran, Israel, the US Sibly and Trump. But first we look at the interaction between progressed solar arc Sibly Ascendant and the chart of Iran.   Notice that the progressed Ascendant [11le] is conjunct Trumps and Israel’s   [2] Pluto [10 and12le] and opposite Iran’s Sun [12aq]   and Mars [9le]. Illegals Scale US Border Fence

Scores of migrants gathered at the U.S. border began scaling the San Diego "wall" while shouting "Gracias, México!" presumably to thank the Mexican government for allowing them to travel from Central America to the U.S. border in the hopes of obtaining asylum from the Trump administration. Apr.29 https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-04-29/watch-chaos-erupts-caravan-illegals-scales-us-border-fence-cheering-gracias-mexico In his blogpost on the current lunar month entitled “Breaking Free,” Nick Fiorenza writes: This April 16, 2018 UT (Apr 15 MST) New Moon occurs just across the cusp of sidereal Aries nesting between Eris and Uranus. Pisces is the constellation of the two fishes. One fish swims westward, horizontally along the ecliptic plane. The westward swimming fish articulates our primordial autonomic (sleeping) nature, and our unconsciously reactive participation in the cycle of mortal life. It is of our inherited genealogies that we are born in...

Sarkozy charged with corruption

The Harvest Moon Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy was charged Wednesday with corruption for allegedly accepting millions of euros from late Libyan dictator Colonel Gaddafi towards his 2007 election campaign, a judicial source told AFP.  The 63-year-old politician was charged with corruption, illegal campaign financing and concealment of Libyan public money after two days of questioning, the source added. March 22 https://www.thelocal.fr/20180322/sarkozy-charged-with-corruption-over-alleged-kadhafi-financing Presented here   are the charts for Sarkozy [1] and Gaddafi [2]. The most significant connection between the two charts is Sarkozy’s Ascendant conjunct Gaddafi’s Neptune. The story of Sarkozy’s strange relationship with Gaddafi begins in 2003, when the United Nations lifted harsh sanctions against Libya that were imposed in the wake of the Lockerbie bombing. At this time Sarkozy’s progressed Sun [27pi] was on his own descendant opposite Gad...

Macron's Dangerous Trump Bromance

All the handshakes, hugs and smooching between Trump and Macron this week made for cringing viewing. Not because two males were being cordial and affectionate. No, the embarrassment stems from the French leader being such a pathetic poodle to the White House bully. The "dandruff moment" was perhaps the most revealing. At one point in the Oval Office, the American president interrupted himself mid-sentence to lean over to his French counterpart and he began grooming his collar, saying he was removing "dandruff". Macron seemed unfazed and continued smiling.   http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/49292.htm Progressed inter-chart aspects provide clues to how two people interact. Astro-Databank provides well timed horoscopes for Trump [1] and Macron [2].   Currently Trump’s progressed Sun [1vi] is in hard aspect to Macron’s radix Pluto [16li] and the asteroid Minerva [16ar]. In other words Trump activates Macron’s radix Minerva-Pluto opposition. Martha Wes...

Why does Israel behave so aggressively?

In this post we examine   the chart for the foundation of Israel to identify   a trait in its collective psyche that explains why as a nation Israel   goes over the top attacking its neighbours. The horoscope of Israel as provided by Astro-databank [1] is reproduced here.   For our discussion, the significant factor is the Saturn-Pluto square to the nodal axis.   Here the South Node is in Scorpio and the North Node in Taurus. The South Node refers to our past and more importantly the need to get out of the habits connected with its sign.   About the South Node in Scorpio, Steven Forrest writes in his book   Yesterday’s Sky: Sadistic violence. Terrible dark events do happen and when they do they leave behind marks on the soul that experience them. A person with the South Node in Scorpio   has known such extremity in a prior life. (This is not necessarily referring to a previous life but the past in this life too…recall that Israel was f...
