Iceberg disintegrating in storm at sea The solar eclipse of April 30 is conjunct Uranus and semi-square Neptune bringing our attention to the Uranus-Neptune cycle that began in 1993 in Capricorn. Capricorn refers to the domination of all social activity by the state, organized religion, the corporations or other large institutions or even by some dominant personage (or nation). Neptune correlates with the “myth of the world”. What this means is that for each epoch of history, there are distinct attitudes and assumptions that permeate social customs. Uranus, meanwhile, promotes rebellion, innovation and individuation. So with this cycle, we see a new vision (Uranus) of the myth of the world (Neptune) passing through the familiar eight stages of development. From the initial conjunction, (slavery to institutions) we have now reached (2017-19) the 1st semi-square stage of this cycle. The new vision challenges the old , but without yet seeming substantial enough to be a threat
