Capricorn glyph The passage of Pluto through Capricorn began in 2008 and will continue into 2024. India is among countries ruled by Capricorn [1] (*). We find ourselves in a period that resonates with the previous passages of Pluto in this “Sign of the Institutional Order”, (1516-1532 and 1762-1778). The first period 1516-1532 marked the beginning of Mughal rule of India and the second coincided with the end of the Mughal empire and the beginning of British rule (see table below). Capricorn can be likened to a rock. Just as a rock forms over great lengths of time, by the time the evolutionary journey has advanced to Capricorn, the conditioning patterns and the realities it has created have crystallized to such a degree that consciousness is primarily resistant and largely impenetrable.
